Keenan Marina, already a popular spot for transient boaters visiting Grand Haven, Michigan, is now better than ever!

With a million-dollar expansion project complete brings the total number of deep-water slips at this full-service marina to more than 200.  In addition, 96,000 square feet of inside heated and rack storage, along with 25,000 square feet of showroom space are now available. The Marina staff pride themselves on the marina's spectacular setting and top-notch facilities, which include a clubhouse, beach volleyball courts, heated swimming pool, and a basketball court. A retail mall attached to Keenan offers a laundromat with tanning beds, pool table, and a big screen TV making washing clothes anything but a chore.

The marina lies in Spring Lake, close to Grand Haven, which lends the facility a resort-like feel. Two miles of boardwalk stretches along a sandy beach, past ice cream parlors, miniature golf courses and kite shops.

Grand Haven also is home to the annual Coast Guard Festival, which draws countless visitors to the shoreline to celebrate the season and watch the phenomenal fireworks display. Four or five Coast Guard cutters are brought in for tours, and there's a big parade. Festival dates are usually planned for last week of July through the first week of August.  But plan ahead-slips and hotel rooms fill up quickly.
